Rare is a premier Saphira educator and has been a celebrity stylist for over 20 years. Rare is the owner of Rare Naturals Salon in Las Vegas, a green circle salon and has expertise as a holistic natural hair therapist. Her primary focus and passion is maintaining the structure and integrity of the hair, while utilizing techniques that eliminate excessive hair loss and heat damage. Rare is on a mission to empower her clients with education to care for their natural beautiful hair.
What/Who inspired you to become a stylist?
I grew up with different hair texture than my mother, and siblings and it was actually my Native American grandmother who showed me the beauty of natural hair remedies and rituals to take care of my hair.
What do you love about being a stylist?
I love being a stylist because I love encouraging people to embrace their natural hair no matter the texture. I also love to create styles, rituals and remedies to help heal and revive hair.
Who is your favorite kind of client?
I love everything about hair and have worked with every type of client; rude people are my least favorite people.
What gets you through the tough moments/days?
Keeping God first and thanking him for my talent and gifts everyday. I take a moment of silence each morning and make a prayer over my hands that they should be the best that they can be.
What is your recommended easy hair routine for normal - dry hair? Oily hair and Textured hair?

Tip #2: Volumizer Trick for all hair textures to keep volume or to add curls/waves
Hold hair upside down; spray Volumizer at roots; at mid-shaft wrap hair in loose top bun at night; in the AM, unravel for voluminous hair without hairspray or heat.
