Yajaira is a gifted stylist of 18 years, a salon owner and the lead Spanish-speaking educator for Saphira.  She has traveled around the world offering extensive Saphira education classes.  Yajaira loves being a stylist and is a cheerleader and mentor for her colleagues.  She brings light and joy to all who know her.

What/who inspired you to become a stylist?

My inspiration comes from my family, who were well known hairdressersin the 80s and 90s in Queens, NY and they left their legacy to me.

What do you love about being a stylist?

I love being able to help my clients maintain healthy hair and a healthy scalp.

Who is your favorite kind of client?

Natural Afro Hair.

What gets you through the tough moments/days?

Empathy, love, discipline and respect for each of my clients help me when touching their hair and seeing the successful results over time.

What is your recommended easy hair routine for normal – dry hair? Oily hair and Textured hair?
